Bitvo Research on the Hunt for New Uses
Bitvo is seeking input from its user on how best to utilize the ability of Bitvo to search the web for media. Several obvious uses have emerged early on, however hundreds more will undoubtedly be discovered as Bitvo becomes a staple of standard computing practices.
- Research (mining image and video data from the net)
- Entertainment (viewing of images, videos and audio files)
- Acquisition of images for publishing purposes
Bitvo Launches First Public Beta

Today Bitvo has announced the first public launch of Bitvo Beta. Bitvo promises to set the standard for media acquisition software of the future. The public is encouraged to try the new software totally free of charge. A visit to Bitvo.com will provide the user with a launch link, tutorial and help pages. Users are encouraged to participate in the development through a comprehensive feedback program that will allow the developers to make any adjustments prior to the roll out of the final version in November.
